Housing & Meals
- The University of Gloucestershire offers a range of accommodation options, from residence halls to off-campus private housing.
- Approximately 1,380 rooms are available in residence halls and managed university flats and houses, providing an option for every student preference.
- Accommodation Cost (Approximate): £5,000/year
- Meals (Self-Catered): Approx. £2,500/year
- Accommodations are self-catered, but each campus has a refectory for on-campus dining options.
- Guaranteed Housing is available for all first-year undergraduate, postgraduate, and international students.

The University of Gloucestershire offers a three-year degree, saving you a full year of tuition and living expenses—plus the opportunity to start earning while your peers are still completing their degrees.

University Scholarships (UoG)
Students may qualify for ONE of the following scholarships:

- International Merit Scholarship: £2,500 per year, awarded based on academic excellence. Requires an essay; deadline is April 1.
- International Award: £1,500 grant applied to first-year tuition for all accepted international students.

Funding Options
There are multiple ways to finance your education at the University of Gloucestershire:
1. Self-Funding
Students may choose to cover their tuition and living costs independently.
2. VA/GI Bill Benefits
UOG is registered with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and accepts Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) and Veteran Affairs Chapter 35 benefits.
Eligible veterans and dependents can use these benefits toward approved degree programs.
3. International Student Loans
U.S. citizens and green card holders may apply for private loans, such as the Sallie Mae Smart Option Student Loan, to cover tuition and educational expenses.

4. Apply for Scholarships through Private companies:
Below are examples of websites where you can search and apply for scholarships offered by private U.S. companies. Each year, more than $100 million in scholarships go unused nationwide simply because students aren’t aware they exist. Be sure to confirm with each scholarship provider that the funds can be applied toward international study before submitting your application.
There are just some examples of websites where you can search for scholarship/funding opportunities. There are plenty of others out there.
