Aidan Harris Trains with GCAFC First Team

Recently, Aidan Harris, one of our UDA Gloucester goalkeepers was asked to train with the Gloucester City AFC First Team. 

After a phone call from Coach Dave letting Aidan know that the GCAFC staff asked him to train with the First Team, Aidan's excitement set in. "I expected a very high tempo and was nervous going into the session" he stated. ​

The training session ended up going so well that the team asked Aidan to come back and train with them whenever he's available. "The tempo was very high, but the players are very helpful and made things very simple. I really enjoyed the session and the opportunity I was given. The session was intense but I feel I held my own very well. I’m looking forward to training with them more frequently and continuing to improve!" Aidan noted.

Since his first training experience, Aidan has been training with the team when he is free from university, or isn't competing with the UDA Gloucester team. "I am hoping this training opportunity will eventually lead to a spot on the First Team," Aidan said.
