Gloucester City U21s Enter Herefordshire Football League

In less than a month, the UDA UoG team will be stepping onto the pitch. After much preparation, we are so excited to welcome the new players and their families!​

This season, the Gloucester City U21 team will enter the newly named Herefordshire Football League which will add 18 additional teams to their division this year. 

“These are certainly exciting times for the Herefordshire Football League” said new league chairman, Nigel Bradley. ​

“Last season saw the Premier Division obtain NLS (National League System) regional feeder league status (step 7 of the non-league football pyramid); and this provides many benefits for Teams; including extra funding and the opportunity to gain promotion and move up the football pyramid, something not seen before in Herefordshire” Bradley continued. 

The 2022-2023 season is expected to bring strong competition, and we’re excited to get started.
