UoG Summer Tour Success

Recapping the 2022 UoG Summer TOur

Our first UoG Summer Tour was a success! Last week the students and their families returned home after almost ten days of experiencing UDA, the University of Gloucestershire, and the UK. ​

On the football side of the trip, the students trained on UoG’s Oxstalls Campus, competed in two games at Gloucester City AFC, and attended a local preseason game. They also got an up-close-and personal tour of Wolverhampton F.C and Forest Green Rovers facility. 

To get the full picture of British life, players and families dove into cultural immersion experiences like visiting the Gloucester Cathedral, seeing London’s top sites, and exploring the Cotswolds. ​

Because our goal is graduation, we dedicated a day towards academic meetings where students and their families were able to connect one-on-one with UoG staff to get their questions answered and learn more about the courses available. 

To round out the trip, we concluded with a barbecue with UoG staff. We can’t thank the UoG staff, Gloucester City AFC, and our UDA UK based staff for all their support. We’re also grateful for an incredible group of students and families for making this trip so enjoyable. ​
